Chain Letter 2 - Christopher Pike

Ok I was so hooked by the end of the first one that I had to read Chain Letter 2 straight after.

It's not just Chain Letter 2 either, it's Chain Letter 2: The Ancient Evil!
Oooooh spooky. I love it.
Again I'm calling Brenda out to be the killer. Again I'll probably be wrong.
Let's read!

Chain Letter - Christopher Pike

This next one is from Christopher Pike, and has a similar premise to I Know What You Did Last Summer. A group of friends who did something naughty are now paying for it sometime later. I feel like I'll enjoy this!

Fear Street - The Secret Bedroom

This cover is great although I'm not a fan of that haircut Lea!
It seems like the skeleton just wants some privacy but Lea is being a nosy bitch and trying to invade the space of skeletor's eerie green room!
Fuck off Lea you nosy bitch! I'm on skeletor's side judging my the cover! I bet a skeleton doesn't even appear in this book though fml.
Anyway let's read!

Fear Street - Lights Out

Journeying back to Shadyside with this next review. Nightmare Hall is good and everything but Fear Street is on a completely different level and I can't wait to read the sarcastic phrase "thrills and chills!" which seems to come up in like every fear street.

The cover to this one is so cringey I love it. Our beautiful main girl Holly is shown looking terrified as she wanders around camp late at night.
I'm so excited to read this I love horror movies and books set at camps! Let's read!

Nightmare Hall #3 - Deadly Attraction

This is the third Nightmare Hall book, unfortunately I don't have all of them yet so I'll be skipping numbers. It doesn't matter anyway, just like Fear Street it's a new bunch of characters in each book, but previous characters pop up for consistency.

Sadly the cover on the version I have isn't like the others where you open the cover to find more of the scene that you can see through the window, so all I have to go off is the chest of drawers with a broken glassed photo frame with a picture of an attractive young man inside it. Cooooooooooooool. I bet there's a dead body underneath but I guess I'll never know.
Let's read!!

Nightmare Hall #1 - The Silent Scream

Ok so this one isn't a Fear Street, but it's the first book in the Nightmare Hall series, which is very similar, written by Dianne Hoh. Instead of Shadyside, we have Nightingale Hall, nicknamed Nightmare Hall, an off campus dorm which is Salem University's answer to Fear Street.

I LOVE the covers to the Nightmare Hall series! Each one features a brick building with the window in the middle, and through the window you see an image relevant to the book. This one for example has a broken rope hanging from above viewable through the window. But that's not the best part. When you open the cover, there's another cover page featuring the whole image that you can only see a snippet of through the window. When you open this one you see a girl lying face down on the floor beneath the frayed rope, probably dead, in a spacious room with her school books scattered around her.
Aah I love it! Anyway lets read on!

Fear Street - Broken Hearts

This is a super chiller (oo00oooOoo0ooOOooooh) and it's like over 200 pages long so I'm hoping it's good. Plz God be good.

That cover tho. I'm loving the pink denim jacket this girl is rocking. U go girl. On the inside of her locker is a broken heart and threatening message... Written in blood!!!!! Just tricking I'm sure it's paint. Surely. This girl has a pretty clean locker though. Much cleaner than mine ever was. Those posters are horrible though, they need to go honey.
And the tag line is great. "Valentine's Day can be a killer!" Ugh it's so unoriginal I love it. A lot of these books have similar tag lines actually.
Anyway let's read!
